Computer Connection: The Computer Connection is operating for departmental and UPHS services only between the hours of 10 am and 3 pm. The retail store is closed until further notice. To request services, please contact ccxmail@pobox,upenn.edu.

Penn Hotels:

Morris Arboretum: The Morris Arboretum recently reopened, just in time to celebrate the arrival of Summer. Everyone, including members, will require timed tickets for your planned visit. They are easy to reserve and can be obtained at https://experience.morrisarboretum.org/Info.aspx?EventID=3.

Penn Bookstore: The Penn Bookstore is closed until further notice. For updates on course materials consult the website: www.upenn.edu/bookstore.

PennCard Center: Services are available at 1920 Commons, 3800 Locust Walk by appointment for essential staff,others who need to have their PennCards renewed and in emergency situations for those who are allowed on campus. Check the PennCard website as these hours are subject to change. Staff should email PennCard at penncard@upenn.edu to set up an appointment. The PennCard Service Center located in the Penn Bookstore is closed until further notice. www.upenn.edu/penncard

Penn Children’s Center:The Penn Children’s Center is closed. www.upenn.edu/childcare

Penn Home Ownership Services: Staff is available by phone and email; closed for walk-in visits. www.upenn.edu/homeownership

University of Pennsylvania Class of 1923 Ice Rink:  Services suspended until further notice. www.upenn.edu/icerink

Penn Mail Services: Open and operating as usual except for only making one stop daily at each location. Penn Customers should contact Penn Mail Services directly at 215-898-MAIL/6245 if their office will be closed or have modified hours. In addition, members of the Penn Community are advised to refrain from sending packages to the University during this time if they are working remotely. This will help reduce the possibility of a lost or misplaced package.

Penn Parking Services: The Penn Parking Office staff is available by phone and email; the office is closed for walk-in visits. Garages and lots will be open and staffed regular hours. Note: Chestnut 34 Garage is closed on weekends.

Parking fees at University parking lots and transient garages (Chestnut 34, Walnut 38, Walnut 40 and Penn Museum) have been waived. This waiver is available to all individuals who have a valid University of Pennsylvania or UPHS-issued ID card. ID cards issued by Penn’s affiliated hospital, practices, and institutions are also eligible for this waiver.

Other Parking customers may park in Penn’s lots and garages at temporarily reduced rates.

Students who purchased Spring Semester Penn Passes must visit http://septa.org/pass-refund-info.html for instructions and additional information.

Penn Transit Services:  Penn Transit has announced these service and schedule modifications will be in effect until further notice. Face masks are required to be worn by employees and passengers.

Penn Buses, FMC Shuttle, Pennovation Works Shuttle, and the Grocery Shuttle Pilot Program have been discontinued until further notice. Penn Community members may obtain information about local grocery options at www.upenn.edu/PennTransit/groceryoptions.

Penn’s on-demand Evening Shuttles, Penn Accessible Transit, and other medical transit services will continue to operate as normal.

SEPTA Travel Center @Penn: Closed until further notice. www.septa.org

Purchasing and Travel Services:  Purchasing and Travel Services continue to maintain all operations and are working closely with internal Penn partners, suppliers, and service providers as the University collectively manages the delivery of supplies and services during the response to outbreak of the novel coronavirus. For further information on frequently asked questions, please consult the Purchasing Services website.

Travel Agency Support: Before making any travel arrangements, please consult the University’s most recent guidelines regarding Penn-related travel.
World Travel – Agents available 24 hours per day, every day; book travel online through Concur or call World Travel directly at 888-641-9112. Other guidance is available at www.upenn.edu/penntravel.

University Club: Closed until further notice.

Residential Services: Residential Services is currently open and operating with essential personal only. Residents and families are asked to send questions and concerns to living@upenn.edu. www.upenn.edu/housing 

Limited Building Access via PennCard:  Access will be restricted to only authorized individuals which include Residential Services, College Houses, Public Safety, and Facilities Services staff, approved residents, and any University office tenants.

Mail and Packages: Residents with questions regarding specific mail or package items should email HOUSINGMAIL@LISTS.UPENN.EDU. USPS mail and packages can be forwarded for domestic residents. Residents must update their forwarding address via Penn InTouch and reach out to HOUSINGMAIL@LISTS.UPENN.EDU to request forwarding. For FedEx, UPS, & DHL packages, the University’s mail and package provider will hold all nonperishable mail/packages that cannot be picked up until it is deemed safe for residents to return to campus to retrieve these items or alternative delivery procedures are implemented. Perishable deliveries will be accepted and held for as long as possible, but some may need to be disposed of for sanitary reasons such as food spoilage.
